Floyd James

Success Story

At sixty-two-years old, Floyd James from Longmont, Colorado, is retired from equipment maintenance. He enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, eating out at restaurants, and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.

Recently, Floyd began experiencing generalized weakness in his body, causing him to fall four times in one month. Referred to Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital (NCRH) by the hospital that initially treated him, Floyd began his rehabilitation journey. His goal was to get back to walking confidently again.

“Everyone at NCRH is great,” Floyd says. “The staff is very nice and professional. The therapy team has increased my strength and endurance, and Dr. Arrogante checks on me daily. She’s been so positive about my recovery.”

In addition, Floyd says he has been enjoying the food, “especially the halibut and tuna steak!” he says.

Now discharged from the hospital, Floyd looks forward to hunting and fishing again.
