Courtney Cole

Success Story

Courtney Cole, a 30-year-old volleyball coach from Evans, Colorado, enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years, going out to eat, playing board games, crafting, and making t-shirt designs.

Courtney recently experienced difficulty breathing, prompting her to go to a hospital. While there, she was diagnosed with pneumonia, influenza, and acute respiratory failure. After her initial treatments, the hospital recommended that she attend Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital (NCRH) for continued rehabilitation. Courtney researched NCRH online and saw it had received excellent patient reviews and was in close proximity to her home, so she agreed.

Courtney says that her overall experience at NCRH was very welcoming and rewarding. “The therapists were great at working with me and helping me achieve my goals,” she says. “The dietitians were patient. With everyone’s help, I got stronger every day.”

Upon discharge, Courtney says she is excited to return to a normal home environment. She wants to see her dog, Ninja, and is looking forward to a movie marathon.
