When she watched a movie about a football player that told his recovery story after a spinal cord injury he sustained during a game, she knew she found her calling. She wanted to be a part of a person’s story, of helping them in their journey to regain function and promoting their quality of life. That passion never wavered through high school, college, grad school and now 21 years into her profession.

Jessica has worked in Oregon, Montana and Colorado in multiple niches including home health, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehab. She quickly found herself being drawn to leadership roles in each of these places that combined direct patient intervention and contributing to the successful operations of therapy departments. She says, “It feels wonderful to be able to directly help one person in their journey, and it also feels amazing to lead others to cast the net wider and help even more!”
