Ronald Roth

Success Story

Ronald Roth, who is retired and a long-time resident of Loveland, Colo., is passionate about his church, sharing the word of God, woodworking, and gardening. Married to his wife of 17 years, he has five children, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Ronald was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, a condition that affects the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord. It created balance difficulties for Ronald, often resulting in falls.

When searching for treatment options to assist with his balance issues, Ronald chose Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital’s outpatient program. He said he chose the hospital because his wife had been a patient multiple times and loved the staff, so he felt comfortable receiving his treatment there as well.

“I really liked the therapists, they’re so nice and made me work hard,” Ronald says. “They also taught me many exercises I can do at home.”

Ronald completed the hospital’s outpatient program, which helped improve his balance and has enabled him to perform his everyday tasks easier. His philosophy with therapy is “if you don’t put any work into it, you won’t get anything out of it.”
