Steven Lundahl

Success Story

This past summer, 64-year-old Steven Lundahl was enjoying retirement from the medical billing profession. He had recently moved to Loveland, Colo., to be closer to his father and enjoyed getting together with his sister and playing on his computer.

After a series of falls, he was admitted to an acute care hospital with sepsis. Following initial treatment, Steven chose Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital for his rehabilitative care based upon his doctor’s recommendation.

When Steven was first admitted to the hospital, he couldn’t walk.

“The therapists were great about getting me stronger,” Steven says. “I love it here; the staff is really good. Dr. Arrogante has been fantastic about medication education and pain management.”

In addition, he says the food was tasty and offered a lot of variety. “The fish is amazing,” he says.

As Steven continues on his road to recovery, he now can walk with a walker. He looks forward to being home, getting back to his routine, and spending time with his sister and father, all while incorporating longer walks into his days.
